2008 will mark the 2nd year of the NW Star Academy 18U team. This team plays as an independent registering in both Connie Mack and Senior Babe Ruth. We participate in the Washington State Baseball League. The league involves 29 teams from the greater Puget Sound area and is a wood bat league. In 2007, we became the first non-Washington team to win the regular season league championship going 29-1 and finished 3rd in the state tournament. We an ultra competitive 50 game schedule against both high school and college summer teams. We host 3 elite tournaments which attract the best teams from the NW and beyond. We also compete in multiple other tournaments including the respected Curt Daniels Invitational. The team consists of primarily graduating HS seniors that are continuing on to play college baseball. This program helps prepare players for what they can expect at the college level from the program structure, to the schedule, and the on and off field expectations.
