NW Star Academy is a group of young, experienced coaches. Our teaching philosophies have developed during our playing careers while playing for some of the best high school and college coaches around. We are all students of the game meaning we are constantly learning about the game of baseball, what to teach, and how to teach it. The combination of playing experience and classroom education give our coaches both the knowledge and confidence to teach cutting edge baseball technique.

We teach an aggressive approach to baseball that makes it fun to play and fun to watch. An emphasis is placed on not only developing great athletes, but great citizens as well. That is just as important as any skill development. The skills that players learn through the game of baseball will help them be successful in the game of life. We spend time discussing the mental and emotional approach so that players develop the confidence to bring their best effort to every game. We want players to learn the proper skills and strageties so they can feel comfortable in any game situation and be able to make decisions for themselves, not always waiting for the coach to tell them which base to throw to.

We are also available to help with college preparatory things such as recruiting assistance, video taping, etc.
