Overview of Walk of Champions 2012

The “Walk of Champions” celebration lunch held during The annual NWBC convention recognizes teams and individuals for their achievements and contributions in the game of Baseball.

Success in any program takes a combined effort of coaches, players, parents and the many volunteers in a total effort that leads to ultimate success and positive memories.

Recognized were both team and individuals for their important roles that they played within their community and school.

Past recipients and clinicians have included many of our highly respected coaches in the region to include: Pat Casey and his Oregon State University staff, two time NCAA Division I National Champions; George Horton and Andrew Cheketts, University of Oregon; Donnie Marbut, Washington State University; Lindsay Meggs, University of Washington; Scott Brosius, retired Major League player and World Series MVP currently the head coach at Linfield College; Johnny Pesky, the legendary Boston Red Sox Player, coach and ambassador; Jacoby Ellsbury, former Oregon State University and member of the Boston Red Sox; Marty Hunter from George Fox University; Geoff Loomis from Pacific Lutheran University; and, Ed Cheff, 16-time NAIA National Champion Coach. Also honored are many other respected high school, college and professional coaches and scouts.
